  1. About Stickies 1.0.1 for 7.1 patch...

  3. This patch is intended to be applied to Stickies 1.0.1 (the version that comes with System 7.5 Update 1.0).
  4. It suppresses the annoying alert that warns of potential problems with system software earlier than 7.5, and it changes Stickies' version info to indicate the patch. For system versions earlier than 7.1 the alert will still appear, and Stickies will probably not run at all under anything earlier than System 7.0. Keep in mind that Apple included the warning for a reason, so use the patched version at your own risk. (It works fine on an accelerated SE under 7.1)

  6. This patch will not work correctly with any other version of Stickies! A patch for the original Stickies 1.0 (included with System 7.5) is available separately. I am not planning any more updates for future versions of Stickies.

  8. This patch cannot work properly while most virus detection software is running.  Please make sure that you have disabled any virus detectors before applying the patch - Disinfectant INIT will not interfere and need not be disabled.
